During Melinda’s over 24 years in real estate, she has enjoyed steadily increasing success, working primarily in the luxury residential marketplace and developments. Melinda has established herself as one of the city’s top producing agents, having sold over $650 million in sales to date. While at Coldwell, Melinda was admitted to the President’s Premier Club, the highest level of recognition at Coldwell Banker, an honor reserved for the top one percent of associates nationally. Melinda Jakovich-Lagrange was also admitted to the International Elite Division of Coldwell Banker which is reserved for the top 2% of agents worldwide. As a native Chicagoan, she prides herself on her extensive knowledge of the Chicago real estate market. Her husband Lucien Lagrange is a world-respected architect, real estate is their life.
Melinda has also worked on Developments, working closely with Architects and Developers to provide up to the minute financial analysis on market trends for Mariano’s Market Hall, City Club and 420 W. Ontario for which she was the exclusive listing agent as well as being a listing agent for CA23 Wabash Station, and Kingsbury Estates development. During the last 5 years she has gained extensive knowledge of the Developments fro the ground up and is respected in her field. She has currently been working on a project in Winnetka, One Winnetka with Lucien Lagrange. It may be one of her most rewarding projects of her career to date. She received her double B.S. in Finance and History from Northwestern University. Prior to her career in Real Estate, Melinda worked twelve years in Securities and Investment banking with leading companies such as The Chicago Corporation, Morgan Stanley, and Alex Brown & Sons. Melinda’s real estate experience and extensive Financial Industry experience will best position clients for success.
She serves on the Woman’s Auxiliary Board of the Ronald McDonald House as well as being a former member of the Government Affairs Committee of the Chicago Association of Realtors (CAR). She also serves as a member of the Woman’s Board of the Joffrey Ballet and was Chairman of the Fundraising Committee for the 2010 Joffrey Ballet Spring Gala.
